Dovy Privacy Notes

Dovy may handle information tied to account setup, profile edits, posted stories, following activity, translation activity, purchase support, and customer support requests when you choose to use those features.

If you create or maintain a Dovy account, the app may process profile information such as your display name, avatar, bio details, and related account settings so your identity remains visible across feed, profile, and following surfaces.

When you publish travel stories, leave replies, or follow other members, related content and interaction state may be processed to display it inside the app and support community or moderation workflows.

Dovy includes text translation, voice translation, and companion-style guidance surfaces. Translation requests, transcripts, prompts, and returned guidance may be processed to generate results, improve continuity in active sessions, and let users revisit recent outputs.

Dovy requests camera access when you choose to capture images or video, photo library access when you pick existing media or update visual profile content, and microphone access when you use voice translation or record audio-connected media. These permissions are optional but some features depend on them.

When you top up credits through in-app purchase flows, Dovy may process transaction identifiers, storefront product details, and basic purchase state information so purchases can be completed, verified, and supported.

The iOS project declares a tracking usage description. If tracking permission is granted, related signals may be used to personalize recommendations or improve content relevance. If permission is denied, related personalization behavior may be reduced or unavailable.

Report, block, and safety actions may create records needed to review abuse concerns, protect users, and enforce community boundaries around public content and follow-based interactions.

Dovy uses reasonable measures to protect information involved in active app operation. Information may be kept for as long as needed to operate features, resolve support questions, preserve feature continuity, address fraud or abuse concerns, or comply with legal obligations.
